- Simplify them, rewrite them and risk assess them under Section 10 of the QLD Coal Mining Health and Safety Regulations

- Develop a process for Mauritanisation of expatriate roles.
- Develop Operational Group role descriptions and development plans for local staff and non-staff development.

PROJECT SUMMARY
- Act as relief mining manager and SSE for a 6.5 million tonnes per annum steaming and coking coal mine during a time of intense business improvement focus
- Manage a large workforce which included diverse skills and a large contract labour component
- Manage two major mining contractors

PROJECT SUMMARY
- Map out and develop a framework for a modular training program for new operators and to up skill existing operators.
- Based on the Australian industry training programs with strong focus on client needs.
- The training program includes an initial practical program integrated with a suite of generic equipment programs. These programs are very visual, modular and relevant to the client’s needs.
- Rear dump trucks was the initial program followed by excavators. Other programs were developed in draft form only.
